Beechgrove comes to town
Gracemount Walled Garden is about to undergo a huge transformation when the team from the Beechgrove Garden roll up their sleeves and get stuck
in.
The BBC were first approached about 18 months ago, but confirmation was only received last month. The team will be filming on 18 & 19 July and as well as putting the finishing touches to the garden, there will be a question and answer session filmed in the area.
Features will include a pergola, pebble mosaic panels, benches, water feature and a totem/ sun dial.
The Community Garden Project is a joint project between the community, the management committee and staff of Gracemount Youth and Community Centre and the City of Edinburgh Council. The hard landscaping will be undertaken by Capital
Skills.
