Safely does it
Following the tremendous success of a recent pilot
project co-ordinated by Prestonfield Neighbourhood Project, the SAFELINK
Project goes citywide this month.

Pictured above is Sergeant Steve Harding with Jessie Hickman (99 years old) at Prestonfield Neighbourhood Project.
The message in a bottle scheme, where older and vulnerable residents have a canister, containing information on medication, health problems and contact details, stored in their fridge has proved to be such a help to the emergency services that 80,000 residents throughout the city are encouraged to pick up a Safelink Bottle from local chemists, doctor’s surgeries and many other outlets throughout the
area.
