Nowt to do this summer?

GO4IT websiteGet up and Go 4 it! Whatever you’re into... it’s right on your doorstep in Edinburgh.

Learn how to be a radio presenter… chill out at a beach party… go rock climbing… design a web-site… play football... launch a rocket in an inflatable planetarium… or watch an award-winning play before it hits the Festival.

Many events are free or cost as little as a pound. It’s a chance to get together with your mates and experience new things – and make new friends as well.

We’re also arranging a “Battle of the Bands” competition to find the stars of tomorrow – with the chance to perform live on stage supporting our headline act at one of our Final Friday MegaMusic events at Princes Street Gardens on August 10th.

All activities are exclusively designed for 11-18 year olds. Look out for your Events guides - available later this week from all schools across the city...

If you sign up and complete a Go4it activity or project during the month of July, your name will automatically go into the draw for a pair of free tickets for our Final Friday event. There are 5000 tickets up for grabs… so GO4IT!

GO4IT is organised by the City of Edinburgh Council’s Community Education Service supported by Young Scot, the national youth information charity.
